Life

Biwott grew up in Albuquerque , New Mexico . Shadrack attended La Cueva High School and took first place in the state on November 8, 2003 with a time of 15: 23.00 minutes at the Cross Country Championships of the state of New Mexico.

education

Biwott graduated from the University of Oregon where he became an All-American several times .

He was named Athlete of the Year in 2008.

Biwott received cross-country skiing awards in 2007 and was named Pac-10 Athlete of the Year for winning his first Pac-10 xc title.

He made his debut at the 2007 Stanford Cardinal Track and Field Invitational in 2007 and won an NCAA provisional mark in 29: 00.52 hours over 10,000 meters .

Career

After graduating in Oregon, Biwott signed to train with coach Mark Rowland, who ran the Oregon Track Club, until 2012.

Biwott became a US citizen and moved to Folsom in 2012.

He finished the Twin Cities Marathon in Minnesota in 2:13:26 hours.

In 2014, Biwott was sponsored by ASICS .

At the 2014 Half Marathon World Championships , he finished 39th.

In 2014 Biwott reached 14th place in the Frankfurt Marathon with a time of 2:12:55 .

With a time of 2:15:23 he finished 7th in the US Olympic Trials Marathon in Los Angeles 2:15:23 hours.

When New York City Marathon in 2016 he finished fifth.

When Boston Marathon in 2017 he finished fourth.

Biwott has been participating in the Hanson Brooks Project since April 27, 2017 .

When Boston Marathon in 2018 he finished third.

When Boston Marathon 2019 Biwott was 15.
