The Sheikha Al Saad Kuwait Open 2004 took place from January 23 to 28, 2004 in Kuwait City , Kuwait . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2003/04 and belonged to the 5 Star category . The tournament was endowed with $ 65,000. The women's tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2003/04 and belonged to the WSA Gold 35 rating category . The prize money was $ 42,500.

The men's title was won by Peter Nicol , who defeated his compatriot James Willstrop in the final with 15:13, 9:15, 15: 4 and 15: 8. In the women's final, Rachael Grinham beat Cassie Jackman 2: 9, 9: 6, 9: 2 and 9: 5.

The fields of participants in the men's and women's competition consisted of 16 players each, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were each seeded. Wildcards were not given.
