Sheikha Al Saad Kuwait Open 2005

The Sheikha Al Saad Kuwait Open 2005 took place from March 7th to 12th, 2005 in Kuwait City , Kuwait . Last year's winner in the men's category was Peter Nicol . He reached the final again, where he met David Palmer . Palmer won the game 11: 4, 9:11, 11: 3 and 11: 6. In the women's finals , Nicol David beat Natalie Grainger 4: 9, 9: 6, 9: 7 and 10: 8.

The fields of participants in the men's and women's competition consisted of 16 players each, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were each seeded. Per Wildcard received Abdullah Al Muzayen a spot in the main draw for the men.
