Siayan Island is the name of an island in Batanes Province in the Philippines . Regionally, the island is also known under the name Stayan Island. It belongs to the Batan Islands and is located about 295 km off the north coast of the island of Luzon , in the Luzon Strait . The island has an area of ​​about 0.7 km² and belongs to the administrative area of ​​the municipality of Itbayat , and therein to the Barangay Marapuy (Santa Maria) .

Siayan Island is uninhabited and has a rounded-oval shape with a length of about 1.1 km and a width of about 0.7 km. It is a now extinct volcano that rises about 165 meters above sea level. The island's coastline is formed by an alternation of steep rock cliffs and white sandy beaches. The island's vegetation consists of dense tropical vegetation and is inhabited by palm thieves , ants and birds. Traces of human settlement were discovered on the island during archaeological excavations from 2002 to 2004, which prove that the island was inhabited until 1,300 years ago.

North is Mabudis Iceland in about 4 km, south is Itbayat Island 8 km (north coast), southeast is Diogo Island in about 33 km and Batan Iceland in about 76 km away from the island. The northernmost island of the Philippines, Y'Ami Island, is 34 km away.
