Siegfried Dehning
Siegfried Dehning (born September 14, 1930 in Dreilingen ) is a German equestrian. He was multiple German and European champions in eventing .
Dehning came from the rural cavalry and was successful in the military division . He was German champion in 1958 and 1959 and team vice- European champion in 1957 . In 1959 he was European team champion in the military on "fencing lance".
An extensive contribution with the then extremely popular athlete was published on a record by Ariola on Handling Horses (1961) (Interviewer: Jochen Wimmer ).
He later worked as a tournament judge and instructor. From 1972 to 1980 he was director of the Munich-Riem Riding Academy. In 1980 Siegfried Dehning and his wife, the show jumping rider Anna Dehning , leased the university riding school.
Dehning lives in Verden today .
