The keel-laying of all three ships took place in June 1994. The container shipping company Team Lines chartered the three newbuildings before they were completed in order to use them in feeder traffic from Hamburg and Bremerhaven to the Baltic Sea . The launch of the type ship Helene took place on May 2, 1995. It completed its test drive on May 31, 1995 and was delivered one day later with the name Nyland requested by Team Lines . At the beginning of 2005, the Värmland was sold to the Dutch shipping company Holwerda Shipmanagement, which gave it the name Vanquish in April 2005 . The same shipping company also acquired Nyland in 2009 and then renamed it Anja . After the end of the Team Lines chartering, the third ship Alteland started in August 2007 for the Koppelmann shipping company under its original name Patria .
