Career
society
Sjarhej Hurenka began his professional career in 1989 with his hometown club Chimik Hrodna . Since 1990 he has made more than 30 league games annually.
In 1992 he moved to the first division club Njoman Hrodna , where he also became a regular with more than 25 games per season.
In 1995 Hurenka was transferred to the Russian Premier League to Lokomotiv Moscow , where he became one of the team's most important players, but was looking for new challenges in the late 1990s. He first found this in 1999 in the Italian Serie A at AS Roma , where he could not prevail and was only used seven times. Hurenka then moved to the Spanish league and played for Real Saragossa in 2000/01 , but was only able to record eleven appearances there. He also made eleven appearances in 2001/02 for AC Parma in Serie A. After a detour to Serie B in the 2002/03 season at Piacenza Calcio , Sjarhej Hurenka returned to Lokomotiv Moscow in 2003. For the 2009 season he moved to Dinamo Minsk in the Belarusian league . From July 2009 he also worked there as co-trainer. A month later he was promoted to head coach and ended his playing career. In May 2010, Hurenka left Dinamo Minsk and in July 2010 he became the coach of league rivals Torpedo Schodsina .
