Syarhey Aljaksandrawitsch Sadseljonau ( Belarusian Сяргей Аляксандравіч Задзялёнаў , Russian Сергей Александрович Заделенов / Sergei Alexandrovich Sadelenow * 27. February 1976 in Navapolatsk , Byelorussian SSR ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player who since 2010 when Yunost Minsk in Belarusian Extraliga is under contract.
Career
Sjarhej Sadseljonau began his career as a hockey player with Polimir Navapolazk , for which he was active from 1995 to 1998 in the East European Hockey League , as well as the Belarusian extra league. Then the attacker moved to Rubin Tyumen in the Russian Super League , but left the team during the 1998/99 season to play for their league rivals Dinamo-Energija Yekaterinburg over the next four years . Towards the end of the 2002/03 season he returned to his Belarusian homeland, where he received a contract with HK Homel , with whom he reached second place in the East European Hockey League in 2003 and 2004, as well as in the 2003/04 season won the national cup competition.
After Sadseljonau was again Belarusian champion with HK Junost Minsk in the 2004/05 season , he played for two seasons in the Russian Super League for Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk . During this period he was on the ice for his ex-club HK Homel and HK Dinamo Minsk in the Belarusian extra league . The left-shooter spent the entire 2007/08 season at HK Homel. He was then committed by HK Dinamo Minsk from the newly founded Continental Hockey League , for which he scored a total of seven scorer points, including three goals, in 18 games. After another season at Dinamo Minsk in the KHL, he returned to HK Junost Minsk for the 2010/11 season , with whom he immediately won the Belarusian championship and the IIHF Continental Cup in the first year after his return .
International
For Belarus , Sadseljonau only took part in the 1996 U20 Junior C World Championship in the junior division. In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the B World Championships in 2002 and 2004 and at the A World Championships in 2003 , 2005 , 2006 , 2007 and 2008 . He also competed for Belarus at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and qualifying for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .
