The Sony A7s (internally ILCE-7S = Interchangeable Lens Camera with E-mount 7) is a mirrorless system camera (DSLM) with a full-frame image sensor that has been available in stores since April 2014. The camera has extensive video capabilities, as the manufacturer Sony specifically wanted to attract customers with a high level of interest in videos. The successor model, the Sony A7S II , appeared in September 2015 .
Technical specifications
The Sony A7S has an effective image resolution of 12.2 megapixels and uses the BIONZ X image processor to process the image data.
Sony equipped the camera with a deliberately low number of pixels of 12 million in favor of good noise behavior at high ISO values (native up to ISO 102,400, extended to ISO 409,600). This means that it is optimized for low-light situations and was the most light-sensitive camera on the market when it was introduced.
The camera has a fully electronic shutter release. The camera can xavc the S-video codecs cause BEITEN with details, 120 frames per second video at 720p, SLog2 and other so-called Picture Profiles, and the possibility through the micro-HDMI output 4K - standing and moving images to be output. In contrast to HD videos, which can be recorded internally, an external 4k recorder connected via the HDMI interface is required for 4k video data.
The camera housing has an E-mount connection. A contrast autofocus with 25 measuring points is used as the autofocus system. With the integrated Wi-Fi function, the Alpha 7S can be remotely controlled via a smartphone or other mobile device. The recordings can be transferred directly to mobile devices and suitable televisions. The built-in monitor and electronic viewfinder support live view with software magnifying glass and focus peaking .
Individual evidence
- ↑ Sony (along with other manufacturers) counts the subpixels of each pixel, i.e. H. the red, green and blue channels of each pixel individually, and therefore specifies the rear display with 307,200 [pixels] × 3 [colors] = 921,600 pixels.
