The South Caicos Airport , and South Caicos International ( ICAO code : MBSC , IATA code : XSC ), on the island of South Caicos is a national airport in the Turks and Caicos Islands . It is operated by the Turks & Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA).
The airport is serviced approximately thirty times a week on scheduled flights from Providenciales and Grand Turk Island by InterCaribbean Airways and Caicos Express Airways . It has an 1831 meter long asphalt runway.
In 2016, the expansion of the airport began with the construction of a control tower and airport terminal .
