The Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (formerly Wallblake Airport ) is the only airport of the British overseas territory Anguilla in the Caribbean . It is not far from the capital, The Valley .
It was named on July 4, 2010 after the island-born aviator and aviation pioneer Clayton J. Lloyd .
Airlines and destinations
There are regular scheduled flights to San Juan on Puerto Rico , Antigua , Nevis , Sint Maarten , Saint Thomas and other surrounding islands with Air Sunshine , LIAT , Seaborne Airlines and Tradewind Aviation as well as Anguilla Air Services , Trans Anguilla Airways and Anguilla Air Express .
Several charter airlines fly to the airport and are partly based there, such as Anguilla Air Charter .
