The Southern Upland Way is a Scottish long distance hiking trail .
It runs from Portpatrick on Scotland's west coast to Cockburnspath on the east coast. The total walk length is 337.6 kilometers (209.8 miles), making it the longest Scottish walking trail. There is an ascent of 8,720 meters (28,609 ft) along the entire length. The highest point of the route is 712 meters above sea level.
