The 1971 season was the 13th edition of the Soviet ice hockey cup . Cup winner was Spartak Moscow for the second time . The tournament's top scorers were Anatoly Motowilow from Dynamo Moscow and Sergei Shalimov from Lokomotiv Moscow with five goals each.
