The Permanent Mission of the Federal Republic of Germany to NATO is the diplomatic representation of the Federal Republic of Germany to NATO . Since 2015 Ambassador Hans-Dieter Lucas the Permanent Representative of Germany in the North Atlantic Council and head of the Permanent Mission . His deputy is Ambassador Heiko Thoms.

The permanent mission is based in Brussels at NATO headquarters on Boulevard Léopold III .
