The Organization field equipment, information technology and use ( AIN ) is in the armed forces , a civil organization area of defense administration .

tasks

The task of the organizational area is to equip the Bundeswehr with powerful and functionally reliable equipment through the development, testing, procurement and usage management of defense material.

history

The organizational area was created in the course of the realignment of the Bundeswehr . With this, the then two organizational areas of the Bundeswehr administration, territorial defense administration and armaments area, were divided into the three new organizational areas of personnel and infrastructure, environmental protection and services as well as equipment, information technology and use.
