In 1821 the church was extensively repaired. The flat ceiling of the nave is painted. The interior was restored from 1981 to 1985. The walls have no buttresses . The high, two-lane windows in the choir are fitted with renewed tracery . Remains of painted saints on the apex of the choir come from the time of construction , and traces of demolition of the sacristy can also be seen on the south side of the choir . The keel- arched portal in the south of the nave with garments made of filigree framework is walled up today. Today there is a baroque tomb in it , the inscription of which has been weathered to the point of illegibility.

The interior is otherwise characterized by modern renovations. The surrounding two-storey galleries on the north and west sides of the nave, some of which date from the 18th century, were given their present form in 1821. Their parapets have balusters or are painted.

The front of the Arch standing classical pulpit and the damaged font in the form of a vase , which stands on a cubic pedestal, also originate from 1821. On the gallery of the chorus, the parapet is painted, there is a small organ with carved brochure . It has 9 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , and was built in 1746 by Justin Ehrenfried Gerhardt. It was repaired in the 1980s.

There are two bells in the roof turret . The older one, cast by Melchior Mörinck from Erfurt in 1611, bears the inscription : ANNO MDCXI (1611) GOS ME TO ERFURDT HIERONYMUS MOERINCK IN THE NAME OF GOD. In 2007 Rudolf Perner cast the second smaller bell.
