The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Martin is in Pillingsdorf , a district of the city of Triptis in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish Pillingsdorf in the parish area Pillingsdorf the church district Schleiz.

The church probably dates from the 12th century. In 1358 Billigirsdorf is mentioned with a pastor ; it follows that it owned a church. An inscription above the portal in the west of the church shows the year 1774/75. This hall church with a choir tower was built using usable masonry from the old church. The narrow pulpit altar is adorned by two carved Corinthian columns and veil boards. It is crowned by a tetragram . Underneath, an angel holds a banner with the words " Gloria in Excelsis". In addition to the pulpit altar , doors on both sides lead to the sacristy behind it . A patronage box is attached to it on the right and left . The nave has a coffered ceiling decorated with stars from 1875. The galleries are two-story, the fields of their parapets are provided with ears .

The gallery in the west carries the organ . It has 10 stops , divided into a manual and a pedal , and was probably built in 1774 by the organ builder Gerhard . It received a new disposition in 1900 and was restored in 2008. The prospectus shows musical instruments in the ears, with a coat of arms on top . The pews have ornamental cheeks. The back of the nave is occupied by glazed prieches for the upscale estates . The simple baptismal font is made of wood, the balusters of the shaft have volutes . In the case of the lecture cross , dated 1757, the body of the person who was crucified is sawn from a board.

The bell tower has a verschieferten truss head with hood , from a lamp is crowned. In it hang two bells from a bell foundry in Apolda .
