description

The main parts of the hall church have existed since 1686, as can be read on the portal in the north. It has a five-sided closure in the east and the steeple in the west. It was changed in the 18th century. In 1792, as indicated on the weather vane , the tower received an eight-sided, slate-roofed tower top, which is covered with a bulbous dome , which continues in a lantern with a tower ball . The nave is covered with a gable roof, the end in the east with a fifteenth tented roof .

The interior of the nave is covered with a wooden barrel vault, the choir with a flat ceiling . The three-sided, two-story galleries were built in 1726. The upper parapet consists of turned balusters , the lower one of 17 painted fields, twelve of which show scenes from the life of Jesus Christ and two more the coat of arms of the von Hagen family . The 17th century pulpit was originally part of a pulpit altar that was removed during a renovation.

The wooden statues of the apostles , which are today on the pulpit and on the polygon wall, were originally on the gallery parapet. The baptismal font is from 1762, a chandelier from 1896. The organ with 11 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built around 1900 by the Central German organ builder A. Voigt .
