Orchards west of Immenhausen is a landscape protection area (protected area number 4.16.023) in the Tübingen district.

Location and description

The protected area is about one kilometer west of the Kusterdinger district of Immenhausen . It belongs to the natural area 104- Schönbuch and Glemswald within the natural spatial main unit 10- Swabian Keuper-Lias-Land .

Protection purpose

The orchard meadows in their characteristic peculiarity as an open landscape, which is largely free of structures, should be preserved and improved. They are also a local recreation area for the general public and a habitat for a rich flora and fauna.
