The Suhle is an 18 km long left tributary of the Hahle in the southern Lower Saxony district of Göttingen .

course

It rises in Mackenrode at the foot of the Mackenröder Spitze in the southeast part of the Göttingen Forest and leaves it eastwards. Then it flows through Landolfshausen , Seulingen , Germershausen and Rollshausen and drains the central part of the Golden Mark . Then it runs further north parallel to the cavern. It flows into Gieboldehausen near Bundesstrasse 27 as a south-western tributary into the Hahle. Alternatively, a short branch of the Muhle, which flows north of Rollshausen into the Hahle, can be seen as the point where it flows out; the parallel branch therefore flows into the Ellerbach before Gieboldehausen.
