Super League (Europe) 2003/04
The 2003/04 Super League was the eleventh season of the Table Tennis Super League . It lasted from September 2003 to March 2004.
The game system was changed compared to the previous season . A group of four with the strongest teams from the previous season and a group of eight played a sequence in a first half (not the second half). The first four placed teams from both groups then fought for places one to eight in a play-off system. The last four of the group of eight played from places 10 to 12 in the play-off process.
Each team provided two doubles and four singles. There were two doubles and eight singles, which were carried out according to the federal system . In the group games, the competition was abandoned when a team had reached six points. In the play-offs all possible games were played, i. That is, results like 6: 4, 8: 2, 10: 0 were possible.
For the first time there was a deviation from the requirement of "three clubs per nation". Only two Hungarian teams competed in the men's competition, four from the Czech Republic. In the women's race, four teams from Hungary competed and only two from Austria.
