Sussex is a municipality (with the status " Village ") in Waukesha County in the US -amerikanischen State Wisconsin . In 2010 , Sussex had 10,518 residents. By 2013 the population increased to 10,695.

Sussex is located in the western suburbs of the city of Milwaukee , around 30 km west of Lake Michigan .
The geographical coordinates of Sussex are 43 ° 08'02 "north latitude and 88 ° 13'19" west longitude. The municipality extends over an area of 19.74 km² and is almost completely surrounded by the Town of Lisbon without belonging to it.
