Swantje Henke
Swantje Henke (born December 14, 1971 in Hanover ) is a German actress .
Life
Henke completed his acting training in Hamburg at the university and attended several courses at the Actors Studio New York . She had her first engagement from 1995 to 1997 at the Berliner Ensemble , where she worked with directors such as Einar Schleef , Christoph Schlingensief and Werner Schroeter , among others . From 1997 to 1999 she was a member of the ensemble at the Burgtheater Vienna , where she mainly worked with Einar Schleef. After the birth of her daughter, she returned to Berlin and has been working as a freelance actress ever since.
She played at the Schaubühne Berlin with Sasha Waltz , at the Deutsches Theater Berlin with Konstanze Lauterbach , at the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf with Peter Hailer, in various productions at the Hebbel am Ufer , in the Sophiensaelen , and the Mousonturm Frankfurt . In the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm she took part in several plays with Katharina Thalbach . On television she played in series such as Sperling , SK Kölsch and Blutsbrüder.
As the singer of the rock band Agnes and her pillows , she appears on stages in Berlin. Henke also studied Protestant theology at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In 2010 she worked for half a year in Thailand for the first time with tsunami orphans, with whom she developed and staged a play herself.
