author

  • 1953: De aolle Baum (also speaker) - Director: Wilhelm Wahl
    • The following text can be read about this work on the corresponding page of the ARD radio play database:

Toenne Vormann, also known as the lute singer to the listeners of the Second Program West, wrote this Westphalian radio play about an old tree, an ancient bog oak that has been lying on the bottom of the Ems since time immemorial. This old tree, which two peasants quarrel over ownership, can be worth more than wood, which is made into a piece of furniture. That is the deeper meaning of this game from the first post-war days. At its happy end, two prisoners of war return home.
