Taghring ( Nepali टाङरिङ ) is a Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Lamjung district of the Gandaki administrative zone in central Nepal .

Taghring is on the western side of the Marsyangdi Valley. The main town is Jagat on the right bank of the Marsyangdi . It forms the entrance gate to the Manang Valley and is located on the trekking routes of the Annapurna circular route and the Manaslu circular route .

Residents

The VDC Taghring had 2318 inhabitants (1113 of them male) in 521 households at the 2011 census.

  • Chamje ( 1510  m )
  • Jagat ( 1300  m )
  • Syange ( 1100  m )
