Tambon Tha Sawang
Tambon Tha Sawang ( Thai : ตำบล ท่า สว่าง ) is a municipality ( tambon ) in the district ( amphoe - administrative district) Mueang Surin . Surin is the capital of the Surin Province , it is located in the northeast of Thailand , the so-called Isan .
geography
Neighboring communities of Tha Sawang are (clockwise from north): Na Di, Kae Yai, Nok Mueang and Kho Kho in the district ( Amphoe ) Mueang Surin in the province of Surin and Nong Teng, Chumsaeng and Lamduan in the district in Krasang in the province of Buriram .
economy
The main livelihood of Tha Sawang municipality is agriculture, whereby rice and vegetables are mainly grown. Another source of income is the production of high quality silk fabrics . Silk and brocade fabrics were the “official souvenir ” at the 2003 APEC summit in Bangkok .
administration
The Tha Sawang community is administered by a “Tambon Administrative Organization” (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Administrative Organization). It is divided into 20 village communities ( Muban ) .
