Tamio Ōki
Tamio Ōki ( Japanese 大 木 民夫 , formerly: 大 木 多 美男 , Ōki Tamio ; born January 2, 1928 in Tokyo , Japan ; † December 14, 2017 ) was a Japanese voice actor ( seiyū ) and television actor. He belonged to the agency Mausu Promotion and was considered a veteran among the voice actors.
biography
He began his entry into the media world as an intern at the television station NHK . For a short time he worked in the radio play division of the TBS channel . From 1960 he worked as a dubbing voice for foreign television series, such as Richard Boone in Have Gun - Will Travel . At the same time, he also began working as a voice actor for anime. He was known to be extremely conscientious and focused.
