Tatiana Alekseyevna Kolpakowa ( Russian Татьяна Алексеевна Колпакова ., English transcription Tatyana Kolpakova , married Аббясова - Abbjassowa - Abbyasowa * 18th October 1959 in Alamedin ) is a former Kyrgyz long jumper , which for the Soviet Union Olympic champion was.

Born in a small village south of Frunze, today's Bishkek , she started the long jump in 1974.

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1980 in Sindelfingen, she was fifth with 6.47 m and seven centimeters behind bronze. Before the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980, the Lithuanian Vilma Bardauskienė's world record was 7.09 m. In Moscow, Tetjana Skatschko led with 7.01 m from the third round . In the third last attempt by the competition, Tatjana Kolpakowa achieved a personal best with 7.06 m. Immediately after her, Brigitte Wujak from the GDR jumped 7.04 m. In the hitherto best long jump competition of all time, three jumpers had surpassed the seven-meter mark and Kolpakowa was the surprising Olympic champion.

In 1981 she won the Universiade with 6.83 m and was third in the European Cup with 6.59 m. At the Soviet Championships she never came under the top three jumpers.

Tatiana Kolpakowa is 1.69 m tall and weighed 60 kg during her active time. After studying sport at the University of Frunze, she married the long jumper Shamil Abbjassow . The couple has three children.
