The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of St-Vaast in Nointel , a French parish in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created around 1400. In 1908 the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The 89 cm baptismal font made of limestone is made from a block of stone. It is octagonal and richly decorated with reliefs consisting of columns, arches, tripods and plant motifs. The baptism of Jesus , St. Margaret of Antioch , other saints and angels are depicted on the surfaces between the columns . Parts of the reliefs are missing.

The larger basin was used for baptism, the smaller as a piscina .
