The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of St-Denis in Rieux , a French parish in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in the 12th century. In 1912, the Romanesque baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The octagonal baptismal font made of limestone , which is about one meter high, stands on an octagonal base that is profiled at the bottom and top. The basin is decorated all around with volutes , between which the head of a person and flower reliefs can be seen.
