The Thève is a river in France that runs in the Hauts-de-France and Île-de-France region . It rises in the north-western municipality of Dammartin-en-Goële , just on the border with the neighboring municipality of Othis , generally drains in a north-westerly direction through the Oise-Pays de France Regional Nature Park and, after around 34 kilometers, flows into the Oise as a left tributary in the municipality of Asnières . At Lamorlaye it divides into two arms, the Vieille Thève and the Nouvelle Thève. On its way, the Thève touches the departments of Seine-et-Marne , Oise and Val-d'Oise .
