The Thai Honda FC ( Thaiสโมสร ฟุตบอล ไทย ฮ อน ด้า ) was a Thai football club from Bangkok . He last played in the Thai League 2 , the second highest division in Thailand . The club was a factory team from Honda Thailand and was financially supported and sponsored by them.
The club was founded in 1998. In 2004 and 2005 the club played in the second division, Division 1. In 2006, they rose to the Thailand Premier League, the top division of Thailand. After an 11th place in the premiere season, however, you had to relegate back to the 2nd division in the following year. The relegation was not coped with, however, and with a defeat on the last day of the 2008 season, relegation seemed sealed , this time to the Thailand Division 2 League . The club would have been the first in Premier League history to have been relegated directly to the third division. But since FC Bangkok Bank , as relegated from the Thai Premier League, canceled the game, there was still a chance. The association decreed that play-off games should decide on the vacated space. Thai Honda made it to the final, defeating FC Nakhon Sawan 4-0 and thus securing their place in the league. In 2012 you had to take the path to the third division and played for three years in the third division, division 2. In 2014, you became champions of the division 2 region Bangkok and rose to division 1. After two years in Division 1, they became champions in 2016 and rose again to the Thai League . After only one year, in 2017 they had to relegate to Division 1, today's Thai League 2 . In 2018 they finished 12th. At the end of 2019, the club announced that it would withdraw from the league for financial reasons.

72nd Anniversary Stadium
The club played its home games at the 72-years Anniversary Stadium in Min Buri , Bangkok . The stadium is also known under the name Chalerm Phrakiat Min Buri Stadium . The stadium is a multi-purpose stadium. The 10,000-seat stadium was built to celebrate the 72nd birthday of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The stadium only has two stands (covered main stand and uncovered back straight). The stadium is owned by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration .
