reception

Brian Lowry of Variety magazine wrote that the series lacks the charm of the source material and is kind of a little kids' land. Rob Owen wrote in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the series' characters were only hypocritically drawn and that the series only wanted to benefit from the 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs .
