action

The wealthy Charlotte Cartwright has been friends with the worker Alice Pratt for years. Pratt's daughter Andrea cheats on her husband Chris with her boss, who is also Pratt's friend. Pratt's second daughter Pam marries a construction worker. She tries to sort out family affairs.

Cartwright and Pratt go on a trip to escape family troubles.

backgrounds

The producer negotiated at times with Jennifer Hudson , who was earmarked for one of the larger roles. The film was in Atlanta and Covington ( Georgia turned). It will be released in US cinemas on September 12, 2008.

Sanaa Lathan said in an interview at the beginning of September 2008 that she found it interesting to embody a different role than the one previously played - a "beast" ( "bitch" ). For the third time she played a daughter of the character played by Alfre Woodard; her film sister Taraji P. Henson has played her best friend in a previous film and is treated like a real sister by Lathan in real life. The characters in the film belong to different races, but the film does not address the issue of race; the family story told is universal and independent of race.
