action
Frank Martin is a former Special Ops mercenary who transports secret and often illegal supplies. While his father comes to visit him in the south of France, the femme fatale Anna orders him to pick her up after a bank robbery.
Anna, who works as a prostitute, plans a campaign of revenge against her boss Karasov and his friends.
Frank is forced to take on another assignment because Anna has kidnapped his father.
Anna plays Karasov and his friends off against each other and can start a new life with a large sum of money.
Reviews
The film was received negatively in the United States by both audiences and critics. In the Internet Movie Database , users rated the film with 5.1 out of 10 points (as of October 12, 2017). At Rotten Tomatoes , the film received only 17% positive ratings, based on 89 evaluated reviews. In summary, it says: "In addition to a couple of decent action sequences, The Transporter Refueled has little to offer, so the title of the reboot sounds more like a wish."
The “Transporter” comeback starts with a wild chase, but then drops off sharply. The spanking scenes are still perfectly choreographed, but the plot is bland and some scenes are downright stupidly sexist. The Northern Irishman Ray Stevenson gives the macho in the role of Frank's father at least a little wit and charm, while Skrein beats Russki up with a stoic expression and at the wheel does real tricks like “uncorking” hydrants on a spinning top, which gets the chasing motorcycle policemen out of the saddle skin. The film is entertaining to a certain extent, but the question arises as to whether it was really necessary to reactivate the furious courier. "
“The furiously staged action film deals only superficially with the allied topics of girl trafficking, guilt and revenge. Instead, he devotes all of his energy to creating daring car chases, hand-to-hand combat and original showpieces. "
