Thomas Fehlen (born November 10, 1965 in Recklinghausen ) is a German actor and acting teacher.

Life

He discovered his love for the theater while still at school. In the elementary school in Dormagen- Hackenbroich he played Kramer in "The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats" and, after his friend fell ill, also for a short time the miller. In the Leibniz Gymnasium Dormagen he was the student representative for various cultural events (including "Anti-Bild Tag", "Tag über Massentourismus", cinema events, rock concerts, etc.) and played one of the two arsonists in the Theater AG in Biedermann and the Arsonists. He also played as a guitarist in several bands. After graduating from high school, he attended the drama school der Keller in Cologne from 1986 to 1989 . During his apprenticeship he played a leading role in the television series Der Liebe auf der Spur , as well as in the Theater der Keller and at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . Theater engagements followed. a. in Bonn, Münster, Mayen, Aachen, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Schleswig, Pforzheim, Bad Hersfeld, Bad Vilbel, Bremen, Berlin and Cologne. In the meantime he worked as a taxi driver and art transporter. In 2006 he founded a theater group with the residents in a senior citizen's monastery in Cologne and worked with them on two pieces he had written ("Meeresrauschen" and "The Last Meal"). From 2009 to 2013 he was an acting lecturer at the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and the Peter Ustinov Foundation . Since 2009 he has been working as a lecturer at the Comedia acting training in Cologne. On television he was u. a. in the series Tatort , Ritas Welt , Nikola , Kommissar Stolberg , Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei , SOKO Cologne , These Kaminskis , Alles Waswas , Lindenstrasse and The White Ethiopian .

In Til Schweiger's film Honig im Kopf (2014) he played the platoon leader. In the movie Hot Dog (2018) by Torsten Künstler the child psychologist.
