Till-Joscha Jönke (born January 4, 1992 in Düsseldorf ) is a German basketball player . Jönke began his career in the youth teams of the German record champion Bayer Giants Leverkusen before joining and 2012 to Ulm there first mainly in cooperation team Weißenhorn Young Stars in the third league ProB , was used where in he season 2012/13 of as "Youngster Year “was awarded. With the team from ratiopharm Ulm, he has already completed assignments at international level in the 2012/13 Eurocup and as a junior national player in the German U20 national team.

Career

Jönke played for the Bayer Giants' youth team from Leverkusen in the youth basketball league (NBBL) until 2011 . After training with the first men's team of the Bayer Giants at an early stage, he got his first playing times in the third-highest German division in the 2010/11 ProB , where he played almost 20 minutes per game in 17 of 24 games this season. In the following season, Jönke was already one of the most important players in the first team of the German record champions and was named Youngster of the Month in December 2011 in the ProB. Nevertheless, at the end of the main round, the Leverkusen team missed re-participation in the play-offs for promotion to the next higher division. However, the play-downs were able to secure relegation.

For the 2012/13 season the U20 junior national player Jönke moved to the German first division club ratiopharm from Ulm in the basketball Bundesliga . He made him available to his cooperation partner Youngstars from Weißenhorn in the ProB 2012/13 with a " double license " . While Jönke was used in 14 Bundesliga games and six European Cup games for the first division team, most of the playing time after injury to national player Per Günther in the play-off semi-finals for the national championship, he was again “ProB-Youngster of the month ”and was named“ Youngster of the Year ”in the third-highest German division at the end of the season. In the Tigers he was able to get an average of just 2.8 points in 31 games. In the summer of 2015, the Tübingen-based company terminated the contract by mutual agreement after consulting Jönke.

For the 2015/2016 season, Jönke moved to the second division newly promoted White Wings Hanau . There he was involved in ensuring that the Hessians held the class and even played for a play-off participation until the last day of the season. He then extended there for two years. In the 2017/18 season, Jönke was the team's best scorer in Hanau with an average of 13.9 points per game, and he also led the Hanau team in the categories rebounds per game (5.4) and assists per game (5.2) on.

During the summer break of 2018, Jönke signed a contract extension for five years in Hanau. In the 2018/19 season he averaged 10.4 points and 4.3 assists per game, but with Hanau he was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga ProA.
