Unin (German historical (Alt-) Tonnin ) is a place in the rural community Wolin in the Powiat Kamień Pomorski in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . In 2011, 344 residents lived here.

Unin is located on the island of Wolin (Wollin) on the Dziwna (Dievenow), five kilometers north of the city of Wolin and 15 kilometers southwest of Kamień Pomorski (Cammin).

history

The oldest mention of the place as Onym is from 1288 . It belonged to different owners in the following centuries.

Since 1816 he was in the district of Usedom-Wollin in the province of Pomerania in the Kingdom of Prussia .

Unin has been part of Poland since 1945. There was a larger agricultural production cooperative on the site of the former estate until 1992.
