Tour of the Niederwedeldorf and Oberschwedeldorf monuments
The tour of the monuments Niederschwedeldorf and Oberschwedeldorf , Polish: Szlak Pomników Szalejów Dolny , Szlak Pomników Szalejów Górny is a several kilometers long series of renovated or embellished components and small monuments in these two merging places for rural community Kłodzko (Glatz) in Powiat Kłodzki (Glatz district) belong.
The tour was created on the initiative of the Niederwedeldorf-born honorary monument conservator Helmut Goebel . It is an example of the German-Polish cooperation in the field of monument protection and preservation in the former County of Glatz (since 1945 Ziemia Kłodzka ), which fell to Poland after the Second World War. It is planned as a hiking or cycling tour and is intended to convey a lot of historical and monument conservation information.
The monuments are listed below according to parts of the municipality.

DS - The war memorial was moved to this new location, on a stable foundation and surrounded by a green area. A new plaque commemorates the joint German-Polish commemoration of the suffering of the Second World War. Sculptor Franz Wagner from Glatz created it from Heuscheuer sandstone. It was inaugurated in 1929. In 2003 it was moved to its present location, restored and re-inaugurated on June 8, 2003. It is provided with the names of the German soldiers who died in the First World War. |

DS - This pilgrimage church on the Reinerzer Weistritz has been important for pilgrims from the county and beyond. This is also evidenced by the outer pulpit on the front, which faces the confessional chapel of St. Magdalena. The first building in 1523/24 was made of wood. Demolition and massive construction in the same place in 1731/32. Many pilgrims came and prayed for protection from the plague and happiness in the family. The lapidarium for the preserved German gravestones is located directly on another monument in the churchyard wall - the relief of St. Rosalie - placed. Created in 1984 when the German graves were leveled in the cemetery and on the cholera burial ground (see No. 35). This memorial stone is on the outskirts of the village. Franz Wenke was killed by a horse on February 17, 1824 at the age of 50. The memorial stone was discovered by chance in 2008, restored and repositioned in the first quarter of 2009. |

This statue has been re-erected next to the church bridge, with a stable foundation. On the pedestal is written: "Sz Johannes Nepomucene - sus ope Vota -tibi De vota" ( Take the vows that are promised to you ). It was erected during the construction of the church bridge in 1723. Restoration in 2006 and transferred to Weistriz for reasons of space. |

DS - The parish church of St. Georg in Oberschwedeldorf is an ensemble or a monument complex. It can still be seen today in its walling as a fortified church with two gates, one of which was converted into a bell tower. A pietá is particularly remarkable in terms of its furnishings, as many pilgrims prayed in front of it. The first church was built in the 14th century, a Gothic hall church. In 1683 it was rebuilt in baroque style. Another renovation took place in 1765. |

DS - It commemorates the battle of Altwilmsdorf on December 27, 1428. The fallen Duke Johann I von Münsterberg was buried in Glatz and 350 of his soldiers on the cemetery wall in Niederschwedeldorf. The 400 or so fallen Hussites were buried on the cemetery wall in Altwilmsdorf. It stands at the lower end of the village (on the border with Altwilmsdorf or already in its area?) Around 1800 it was rebuilt and enlarged by the property owner at the time, but had to be torn down when the railway connection from Glatz to Rückers was built. In the years 1904–1905 it was rebuilt by the manor owner Carl Müller right next to the railway tracks in neo -baroque style according to plans by the architect Ludwig Schneider. The ceiling fresco of the chapel comes from the history painter Wilhelm von Wörndle ; it represents the death of the duke. |

DS - The Parish and Pilgrimage Church of St. Catherine ( Kościół Św. Katarzyny ) was rebuilt a few years later after it was burned down by the Hussites in 1428 and expanded in the 16th century with the addition of side aisles. It was destroyed again in the Thirty Years War and then rebuilt. In the 18th century an extension and a renovation in the baroque style took place . From this time come:
The miraculous image of Our Lady of Sorrows from the 15th century is also in the reredos. The forged renaissance lattice dates from 1600. The oval wall enclosure with the two-storey gate from 1569 gives the church a medieval, defensive appearance. The three chapels and the covered walkway open to the inside were built in the 17th and 18th centuries. Century built. The cemetery is located between the wall enclosure and the church. The cemetery chapel is baroque and dates from the 18th century. It was extensively renovated in 2005. |
