Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report
The Travel and Tourism Competetivness Report is a study published for the first time by the World Economic Forum in 2007 to measure the performance of the respective travel and tourism sector in a total of 140 countries (status: Report 2019). Since 2009 there has been a new edition of the report with updated data every 2 years. Similar to the Global Competitiveness Report , the index value is constructed from a total of 14 columns, the data of which is based on information from the World Tourism Organization , the World Bank and the World Travel and Tourism Council . The Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report is one of the most comprehensive studies on the global tourism industry.
