Travis Rice
Travis Rice (born October 9, 1982 in Jackson Hole , Wyoming ) is a professional American snowboarder .
biography
Travis came into contact with snow at a very young age. At the age of eleven he got his first snowboard, which soon replaced his skis. He actually only joined the local snowboard team to have an excuse for being absent from school and competed in the first regional and national competitions.
In 2001 he graduated from Jackson Hole High School and devoted himself to snowboarding, although he did not have a sponsor at the time. Filmer Rich Goodwin became aware of Travis on the recommendation of a friend and produced a small video with him in Alaska . Just a year later, he had sponsors and took part in various national and international competitions and was able to occupy places in the top ranks.
Today Travis Rice is a professional snowboarder who is among the world's best in several disciplines of the sport. On December 2nd, 2006 he also won the Air & Style Contest in Munich with a double backflip 180.
