Marcus Kleveland (born April 25, 1999 ) is a Norwegian snowboarder . He starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Kleveland has been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour competitions since 2010 . In February 2013 he won his first victory in slopestyle at the Burton European Junior Open in Laax . In September 2014 he came second in the big air competition at freestyle.ch . In the 2015/16 season he came second at Air & Style in Innsbruck , tenth in Los Angeles and 22nd in Beijing . He also won Big Air at the Norgescup in Trysil and came 12th in Big Air at the X-Games Oslo 2016. In March 2016, he became Norwegian champion in Slopestyle and Big Air. He came at the beginning of the 2016/17 season at The Mile High in the Perisher in second place and in the Thredbo Big Air in Thredbo in first place. In November 2016 he made his debut in Milan in the Snowboard World Cup . He won the big air competition. In the same month he also won the Air & Style in Beijing. At the Winter X Games 2017 in Aspen , he won the silver medal in Big Air and the gold medal in Slopestyle. In February 2017 he took second place at the Air & Style in Innsbruck and third in Los Angeles, winning the overall Air & Style ranking . He also took third place in the Slopestyle World Cup in Québec, and at the end of the season he was eighth in both Big Air and Freestyle World Cups. In March 2017 he won the bronze medal in Big Air at the Snowboard World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada and was fifth in both Slopestyle and Big Air at the X-Games Norway 2017 in Hafjell . In the 2017/18 season he won the World Cup in Cardrona in Slopestyle and at the World Cup in Mönchengladbach in Big Air and thus achieved fifth place in the Freestyle World Cup and third place in the Slopestyle World Cup. The Winter X Games 2018 in Aspen, he won the silver medal in Big Air and the gold medal in slopestyle and at the X Games Norway in 2018 in Fornebu the silver medal in Big Air. In February 2018, he finished at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang the 18th place in Big Air and sixth place in Slopestyle. The following month, he took third place in slopestyle at the Burton US Open in Vail . At the X-Games Norway 2020 in Hafjell, he won the gold medal in Knuckle Huck and came seventh in slopestyle.
