Trumpet is a dwelling place in Wuppertal residential district Herbringhausen in the district long field Beyenburg .
geography
Trumpet is located east of the Herbringhauser dam on Landesstraße 411 at 301 m above sea level. NHN on the ridge between the valleys of the Herbringhauser Bach and the Wupper . To the east lies the hamlet of Spieckern , to the south the hamlet of Spieckerlinde and to the north the farms of Obersondern and Niedersondern .
history
In 1815/16 seven people lived in the village. In 1832 trumpet was still part of the Walbrecken Honschaft, which now belonged to the mayor's office in Lüttringhausen . According to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , the place called an inn owned a house at the time. At that time, six people lived in the village, one Catholic and five Protestant. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province from 1888, a house with seven inhabitants is given.
