Troop Service Court South

The Troop Service Court South ( TDG Süd ), based in Munich, is a federal court (Germany) within the division of the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMVg). The military service court is the military service court for the disciplinary proceedings against soldiers according to the military disciplinary code (WDO) and for decisions in defense complaints according to the military complaint code (WBO).

On the basis of Section 69 (1) and (2) sentence 2 WDO, the BMVg has ordered the establishment of two troop service courts ( north and south) with a total of 14  chambers - two of which are currently empty chambers ( ErrV ; TrDGV ). As part of this reorganization, the chambers in Kassel and Regensburg , which previously belonged to the court, have been removed from July 1, 2006 and in Karlsruhe from September 1, 2012.

The Troop Service Court South is responsible for the offices located in Baden-Württemberg , Bavaria , Hesse , in the administrative district of Cologne , in Rhineland-Palatinate , in Saarland , in Saxony , Thuringia ; it is also responsible for units and departments located abroad.

The chambers of the Troop Service Court South are:

  • the 1st and 2nd chambers in Munich
  • the 3rd and 4th chambers in Koblenz
  • the 5th and 6th chambers in Erfurt
  • the 7th chamber in Potsdam - currently empty chamber
