1980 U-19 Asian Football Championship / qualification

The qualification for the U-19 soccer Asian Cup 1980 was carried out to determine the five participants in the final round. The 15 teams entered were divided into two regional groups. The games took place between December 1 and 21, 1979.

Group 1

Group 1 played from December 12 to 21, 1979 in Dhaka ( Bangladesh ). The two first placed qualified for the final round.
