1985 U-19 Asian Football Championship / qualification

The qualification for the U-19 soccer Asian Cup 1985 was held to determine the four participants in the final round. The 18 teams entered were divided into two regional groups. The games took place in March and December 1984.

Group 1 (West Asia)

Group 1 played in Dammam ( Saudi Arabia ) in December 1984 . The two finalists qualified for the finals.

Preliminary round

In the preliminary round, the teams played in two groups of four or five teams each. The first in each group qualified for the final.
