UGC 6665 = Arp 161 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb pec in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 243 million light years from the Milky Way . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class of diffuse filament galaxies .
