Ultimate Kylie is a DVD by the Australian singer Kylie Minogue that was released at the same time as the compilation Ultimate Kylie .

Content and background

The DVD contains all of the music videos in chronological order except for Giving You Up , which has not yet been released. It also includes the appearance at the 2002 BRIT Awards where Minogue Can't Get Blue Monday sang Out of My Head . The DVD was recorded in Dolby Digital 2.0 .

reception

On the DVD365.net page , the DVD was positively discussed, it was an “excellently presented DVD”: “With so many artists taking the easy root and simply releasing concert footage onto DVD, it makes a welcome change to see such a comprehensive collection of promotional videos on a single disc. ”The picture quality was described as“ dramatically varying ”due to the technical changes over the duration of Minogue's career, but the menu navigation was praised. However, the extras are rather "hastily put together". The Guardian gave the DVD 3 out of 5 stars. James Griffiths also criticized the extras on the DVD. He wrote that the old videos from the Stock Aitken Waterman era appeared fresher than the "soft-porn fantasies and sci-fi shenanigans of the 1990s".
