Union Grove is a place in the US state of Wisconsin in Racine County . At the 2000 census, the city had 4,322 residents (according to the United States Census Bureau ). In the 2010 census, the number rose to 4,915 residents.

history
- At home search came in 1838 John E. Dunham from the eastern states in the southeast of the State of Wisconsin to dwell there. There he bought 80 acres of land and built his house and a barn on it.
- Eight years later, in 1846, the first school, the Union School, was established in Union Grove, accepting students from multiple school districts.
- Union Grove got its name from Governor Dodge, who combined the name of the school with natural features.
- Two years before the school was founded, the first church was built in Union Grove.
- In 1882 the first brick school was built .
- At the turn of the century, the secondary school had 13 graduates with three teachers.
- On July 14, 1902, the Old Settlers Society (translated roughly: Community of the old settlers ) was founded and acquired 12 acres of land.

Secondary school
The Union Grove Union High School (UGHS) is a small secondary school with 880 pupils. The UGHS sports team is called Union Grove Broncos . The sporting offer ranges from baseball , football and basketball to golf , softball and volleyball to dancing , swimming and cross-country running . The musical and linguistic education is not neglected either. There are v. a. Taught Spanish and German .

The Great Lakes Dragaway is a drag racing track near Union Groves that attracts visitors from the wider area and makes Union Grove famous far beyond its borders.
