The Universidade da Amazônia (abbreviated UNAMA ; in German : University of Amazonia ) is a private university in the state of Pará , Brazil . The university was founded in 1993 , making it the first private university in northern Brazil . UNAMA now has four campuses: three in Belém ("Alcindo Cacela", "Quintino Bocaiúva" and "Senador Lemos") and one in Ananindeua ("Campus BR").
